Dura-Seal has been protecting New Zealand vehicles since the eighties and manufactures its products here. We apply all three in-house, either on their own or while the car is in for something else.

Protected while it is already here
Most protection jobs mean handing your car over for a day to a business you have never used before. We do it here, in the same visit as your service, WOF or repair. You drop the car off once and pick it up once, and the work is done by the people who already look after it.
It suits a Tesla particularly well. Solid white and solid black show every swirl and water spot, the light interiors mark easily, and a car with no engine noise gives you nothing to distract from a scratched door cup. Protection is easier to keep on top of than paint correction is to pay for.
Ask when you book. If the car is coming in anyway, this is the cheapest day in its life to have it done.
A barrier between your Tesla and the things that ruin it
Bird droppings, tree sap, sea salt, road film and UV all attack paint, and Auckland supplies all five. Dura-Seal's ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied by hand that bonds to the clear coat and takes the hit instead of the paint.
The practical difference is what happens when you wash it. Contaminants sit on the coating rather than bonding to the paint, so the car cleans up faster, dries with fewer marks and never needs waxing or polishing again.
Inside, the fabric and leather treatments work the same way — an invisible barrier in the fibres and on the hide, so spills sit on the surface long enough to be wiped up.
Dura-Seal has supplied protection systems to the New Zealand motor industry since 1987 and manufactures its products here. Its leather care range is independently tested to international leather standards.
When to do it
A new or nearly new Tesla is the ideal candidate, because the paint and the interior are still in the condition you want to keep them in. An older car can be prepared first — we will tell you honestly whether it needs correction before coating, or whether it is good to go.
